This was one of the very first audio projects that i got to work on. A quicktime was given of this video, in which our professor uses the mens room in NYU. Our goal was to first look at the video, once, twice, or as many times as we want to list the sounds that we might need to record. Then we actually went inside mens room to record sounds. It was really cool experience because i had never done such project before. Sounds like foot steps, ambience, door, vent, water, and yes ofcourse "pee" was recorded. Now everyone's concern was how the hell are we going to record the sound of pee?? would some guy actually go ahead and volunteer but no, nothing of that sort of thing happened. What happened was that we recorded the sound of pee, while one of my classmate was pouring water in sink with plastic bottle. So it all made sense then. I was the one who was doing footsteps. So, it was really an experience of lifetime. Then ofcourse, once all sounds were recorded, we had our practice with Pro Tools of how to add audio in this quicktime.
